No. We welcome both seasoned loan officers and people brand new to lending. If you're new to reverse mortgages — or new to the industry entirely — we train you on the product from the ground up and mentor you on real files.

Do I need an NMLS license already?

You must hold — or obtain — an active NMLS license (and any required California state license) before you can originate loans. If you're not licensed yet, that's fine: we'll guide you through getting licensed, or transferring an existing license to our brokerage.

Do I have to buy my own leads?

No. Warm, qualified reverse mortgage inquiries from our marketing — SEO, content, and digital ads — are routed to advisors at no cost to you. You spend your time advising, not buying leads or cold-calling.

How does pay work?

Compensation is commission-based, with high production-based splits — top producers keep the majority of every commission. There are no desk fees, franchise fees, or monthly fees. We'll walk through the specifics one-on-one; this page isn't an offer of guaranteed income.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. We offer a flexible hybrid setup — work remotely and in person at our Southern California office — with full back-office support either way.

Is the website really included?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every advisor who joins gets a professional web presence — built, hosted, and maintained for you: Option A — a polished advisor profile on the Reverse Mortgage Plus site, included when you join. Option B — your own premium website (a full clone branded to you, with your domain) once you're actively producing.

Do you only hire bilingual advisors?

No — English-speaking advisors are welcome. That said, California's 62+ market is increasingly Spanish-speaking, so if you're bilingual you'll have a steady stream of families who need you.

I'm also a licensed real estate agent — can I do both real estate and loans here?

Yes, where it's permitted and properly disclosed. If you hold both a California real estate license and an NMLS loan-officer endorsement, our office lets you serve a client across both the real estate transaction and the financing — for example, helping an empty-nester sell, buy a right-sized home, and use a HECM for Purchase. Many brokerages forbid this; we allow it as long as the dual role is fully disclosed to the client, you're licensed for each role, and the two services stay genuinely separate, consistent with RESPA and California rules.
